The International Affairs Network (IAN) seeks to build applied international affairs capacity in Central and Eastern Europe with special emphasis on professional education and training programs. The project is supported by generous grant from The Pew Charitable Trusts. Currently in its sixth year, the IAN is a collaborative venture involving the University of Pittsburghs Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA), the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA), and carefully selected institutions in the region. The Ford Foundation and The Pew Charitable Trusts funded exploratory activities leading to the creation of the IAN.
