The Army and Society in Georgia

The first article of this issue is  Georgian Peacekeepers in the KFOR, by Koba Liklikadze who speaks about 34 servicemen of the Kodjori training centre of the MoD having participated in the peacekeeping operation in Kosovo as a part of the KFOR Since September 26, 1999; the second article  New Masters Of Colonies, by Irakli Aladashvili, where author speaks about the penitentiary system of Georgia re-subordination from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the Ministry of Justice, and reviews penitentiary system of Georgia in general.

The Issue also includes Military Chronicle which covers questions of State security, conflict zones, conflicts in Chechnya and Georgia, army building and army life, visits, negotiations, co-operation,  etc. The chronicle based on the information from the Georgian media. The issue followed with the Digest of the Georgian Press.
