This issue begins with the article The National Guard Undergo Reforms but do not Turn Swords Into Ploughshares, speaks about the National Guards. By their 9th anniversary, which will be celebrated this year, the Guards may become entirely renewed - the MoD has worked out a draft regulations that aim to make the National Guards compatible with western standards. On this subject author, Koba Liklikadze, Head of the MoD press centre, interviews General Djemal Tchumburidze, the commander of the National Guards; The second article, Air Force of Georgia, by Teimuraz Chachanidze, considers Georgia's Air force, outlines it's development prospects and states out the importance of Airpower for Georgia.
The Issue also includes Military Chronicle which covers questions of War in Chechnya and State security, conflict zones, army building and army life, visits, negotiations, co-operation, etc. The chronicle based on the information from the Georgian media. The issue followed with the Digest of the Georgian Press.
