CHECHEN ARMED FORCES: CONTEMPORARY CASE
This issue presents the article The Chechen Armed Forces: Contemporary Case, by Vakhtang Maisaia, where author speaks about Chechen armed forces, official, semi-official and unofficial, their commanders and 6-year-old Georgian navy, about new missile crafts and missile systems purchased by Georgian Navy in June, 1999; In the second article, The Making of Reform, Paata Gurgenidze interviews Mr. Revaz Adamia, the chairman of the parliamentary defence and security committee, where Mr. Adamia answers questions about the Reform of the Georgian defence system, problems of corruption, and much more.
The Issue also includes Military Chronicle which covers questions of State security, conflict zones, army building and army life, visits, negotiations, co-operation, etc. The chronicle based on the information from the Georgian media. The issue followed with the Digest of the Georgian Press.
