How to Navigate

Developing this web-archive, we tried to overcome several usual difficulties which annoy users of such kind of sites, where great amount of big (>100Kb) files are collected. Particularly, 1. we decided to use frames in order to avoid extra time spent on downloading the same information on different pages. 2. We provided each document with short annotation, explaining the main point of the document so that one can easily surf the list of documents and decide which issue meets his/her interests most and download the full version of desired document.

The Window 1, Categories Window is for main options, there you can choose between the information about the organisation and this site; our archive, containing periodical issues, historical documents, etc.; peace&security forums, where you can find the information about the conferences, seminars, proceedings and materials concerning the main objectives of CPIRS - international relations, foreign policy, security, etc.; Links - here are some usefull links to official pages of international organisations, donors, governmental organisations. Number of additional options will appear soon. Link from this window always takes you to the Window 2, Browser Window. In this window you can browse inside the category you have chosen. Usually, it is a list of hyperlinks followed by short descriptions. In case of archive, it is a list of currently available documents. When you follow the link, it leads you to the Window 3, Viewer Window, where you see the annotaiton, or the full version (if it's not too big) of the documet, you can download the full version in selected language (for ex. Georgian or English) if you suppose it to be useful for you, in .pdf format (you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it and Georgian Fonts to edit it, both are available from the Window 5, Downloads Window, if you have not them installed already). In case of links, window 3 contains a short review of the site and a hyperlink to it. When you read the informarion in Viewer Window, you still have your Browser Window to jump to another document easily, so you can run over and take a glance to all documents from selected category pretty fast, and you have your Categories Window to change the category. And last, Window 4 , Search Window is for you to make simple your search, if you know exactly what you're looking for. You can type text and search within a site, all documents matching your query will appear listed in Browser Window, regardless of the category they are from. In the bottom you always see contact information and organisation's legal address.
